Akira Greets Raya With Crazy Sale

Bandar Seri Begawan - Akira Electromart is currently holding a "Midnight Crazy Sale" at its premises in Kg Madewa, Jalan Bunut.

The sale, which starts from 9 pm until midnight, offers shoppers electrical goods at heavily discounted prices.

According to Akira Electromart assistant general manager Lau Kok Siang, prices of the items are slashed by 70 per cent in the hopes of making Bruneian lives better, which is in line with Akira's slogan.

On behalf of his company, he also wished all local Muslims a "Selamat Hari Raya".

Meanwhile, 30-year-old self-employed Awg Mohammad bin Idris said the sale allows Muslims to buy electronic items that provide comfort during the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations at affordable prices.

Similarly, 28-year-old Riduan said the sale was well timed as locals just received their pay checks, enabling them to purchase goods for the upcoming festivities.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
