Briefing On Strategic Planning For Belait Officials

Bandar Seri Begawan - A briefing on strategic planning in the Ministry of Home Affairs for the next 20 years was conducted yesterday.

Belait District Office officers and staff heard the importance of strategic planning and executing them over the next 20 years, particularly towards the planning for the development of Kuala Belait and Seria towns.

They were briefed on the ministry's vision, its elements, mission, organisational structure, environmental framework and values.

Present were Deputy Permanent Secretary at Ministry, Dato Paduka Awang Adanan bin Haji Hanafiah and Belait District Officer Awg Hj Mohamad bin Hj Abdul Rahman.

Earlier this year, Minister of Home Affairs Pehin Dato Awang Haji Adanan had launched a book on Strategic Planning 2005 through 2025 and handed over copies to heads of department under the ministry.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
