Sg Teraban Primary School Holds Khatam Al-Quran

Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with the holy fasting month of Ramadhan, the Sungai Teraban Primary School in KB held a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony with the participation of some 40 male and female students from its Primary Four, Five and'Six levels.

Present as the event's guest of honour was Hj Ali Lani, the Officer of Islamic Academic Studies at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

It began with a recitation of the Al-Fatihah. The function also saw a Dzikir Marhaban, Menabur Bungar Rampai and a souvenir presentation before it ended with a Doa Selamat read by Cikgu Md Khairul Ariffin Aji. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
