St George's Contributes To Fire Victims

Bandar Seri Begawan - St George's School recently handed a monetary contribution to Pg Jamaludin bin Pg Hj Hidop and his family, whose house had been gutted by fire.

Students, teachers and parents, stepped forward to lend a helping hand to lessen the burden of the family especially as the Hari Raya festival was just around the corner.

In a handing over ceremony held at the school's premises, a sum of B$2,280 was presented by deputy principal Mr Gerald P.A. Sim to Pg Jamaludin's wife, Maswati bte Hj Md Yassin. The sum included a generous amount of $1,000 kindly contributed by Mr Khoo Hok Kim of OKKY Jewellery Sdn Bhd.
