Brunei-Muara DO Gets Donations

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei-Muara District yesterday morning received donations for "Tabung Derma Anak-Anak Yatim" from individual donors, private sectors and committee members in the capital held at the Brunei-Muara District Office in the Old Airport.

Mr Lim Seng Kok Ming S iong and Ang Ah Ting each donated B$1,000 cash, while BSP, BLNC3 BST, BSM and collectors from "Kajiselidik Kakitangan Brunei Shell 2006" donated B$1,420 to "Tabung Derma Anak-Anak Yatim" for Brunei-Muara District. On hand to receive the donations from the Managing Director of Brunei Shell Marketing Co Sdn Bhd Pg Yasmin bin Pg Hj Mohammad, Awg Lim Seng Kok, Lim Ming Siong and Ang Ah Ting was Dato PadukaAwg Hj Mohd Yussof bin Bakar, Officer of Brunei-Muara District.

Meanwhile, in a separate ceremony at Brunei-Muara District Office yesterday, Mr Yahya Qahtani from Charge d' Affaires, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia donated 30 cartons of Saudi dates to Brunei-Muara offices.

The cartons contain eight sack of dates as well as copies of the al-Quran, some translated in Chinese, Malay and English. On hand to receive the donations was Dato Hj Mohd Yussof.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
