BSP, BLNG, BST & BSM Chip In For Charity

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Brunei Muara Orphanage Fund, KACA, Pusat Ehsan, PAPDA and Special Education Fund yesterday received donations from BSP, BLNC3 BST and BSM.

The contributions were derived from personnel who participated in the. biennial Shell People Survey 2006.

The first donation to the KACA Centre in Kiulap saw BSM Business and Development Support Head HajahAisah binti Hj Othman handing over a cheque to KACA President Dato Hj Zainal bin Hj Momin. Present to witness the event was KACA Managing Director Hj Abdul Alim bin Hj Othman.

The contribution amounted to $7,176.66 in totality. Meanwhile, a separated donation of $8,050 was also made to KACA Belait, which were proceeds from both the BSP MD Fun Run 2006 and Safety Award Donation.

Later, a $1,420 donation was made to the BruneiMuara District Orphanage Fund, during a ceremony held at the Brunei-Muara District Office.

The day also saw a further three donations being handed over to PAPDA, KACA and Special Education Fund.

Held at Pusat Ehsan in Kg Bengkurong, the ceremony saw BSP Darat Manager Haji Kamaluddin bin Hj Bungsu handing over a $1,620 donation to PAPDA Secretary Hajah Rokiah Bujang and a $763.33 donatiotpto Pusat Ehsan Senior Trustee Dato Paduka Hj Alimin bin Hj Abd Wahad.

Meanwhile, the Special Education Unit received a $2,880 donation during a ceremony held at the Special Education Unit in Jalan Pasar Gadong. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
