Rovers Off To Thailand

Bandar Seri Begawan - Seven Rovers led by Skip Rakob bin Nasir of the Scout Association Negara Brunei Darussalam left yesterday to attend the 17th National Rover Moot at Kaennakhon Camp, North East Thailand.

Themed `Rover Scouting for Environment Development,' it gives a chance for Thai and International Rover Scouts to meet, enhance friendship, exchange ideas and work together, improve leadership and self reliance, enhance problem solving and creative thinking abilities and promote commitment to community service.

At the international airport were Chief Commissioner Skip Hj Badar Hj Ali, Deputy Commissioner Skip Metassim bin Hj Duraman and Rover Scout Commissioner Hj Othman Durani. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
