Media People To Tour Korea

Bandar Seri Begawan - Three local media representatives will be leaving Brunei Darussalam tomorrow for Seoul, the capital of the Republic of Korea, for a South East Asian press familiarisation trip.

HuraizahAhmad of Borneo Bulletin, Mr. Sim Yu Hock of Media Permata and Abdul Rahim of Brunei Times will be visiting Daewon C &A Holdings (introduction of Korean Animation industry), Webzen (Korean game industry's current status), Korea Foundation for international Culture Exchange, Korean folk village, Daejangkeum theme park, and Lotte world in Korea. They will also see a Taekwondo demonstration, a Nanta-nonverbal performance and others.

On Wednesday- evening, Mr Won Kun Hwang, the Korean Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam hosted a dinner reception for the local media representatives going to Korea.

Also present at the dinner was Mr Lim Si-Heung, the counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
