Calligraphy Contest At The Mall

Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 100 participants took part in a Calligraphy Competition held in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, yesterday afternoon, at The Mall in Gadong.

Organised by the management of Abdul Razak Holdings/ The Mall, the competition was adjudged by a panel comprising representatives from the Language and Literature Bureau and the Brunei Darussalam History Centre.

MuhdAdi Adham bin Ramlan emerged as the winner in the competition. He received the first prize in the form of a $200 voucher from Solitude Books and a hamper from Utama Grand Superstore.

Coming in second was Muhd Izzudin, who received a $150 voucher from Zat Zati Sdn Bhd and a hamper from Utama Grand Superstore. Third place was won by Dk Siti Amal Nabilah Pg Hj Othman - she received a $100 voucher from Man's Food and as well as a hamper from Utama Grand Superstore. Ten consolation prizes were also given away.
