A Glimpse For 30 On Workings Of Military Police

Bandar Seri Begawan - More than 30 Royal Brunei Armed Forced personnel paid an educational visit to Berakas Police District yesterday as part of their basic military police training.

On hand to welcome the visitors were Berakas Police Station's Officer-in-Charge Senior Inspector Pg Shaiful Rezal Malek Faesal bin-Pg Hj Marali, District Traffic Officer Senior Inspector Hjh Faridah, District Crime Officer P/ASP Hj Mohd Azree bin Hj Manaf.

Senior Inspector Pg Shaiful,Rezal Malek Faesal later delivered a talk on the history, structure and functions of Berakas Police District, while Senior Inspector Hjh Faridah and P/ASP Hj Mohd Azree gave presentations on traffic offences and other crimes committed within the police district's jurisdiction.

The group, led by RBAF Military Police Commanding Officer Major Pg Hj Rudy Halyamin, then toured the Berakas Police Station, including the Charge Room Office, Berakas Police Station cells, and the Traffic and Crime Investigating Officer's office, where police reports are lodged.

Major Pg Hj Rudy Halyamin said the educational visit to Berakas Police District was instrumental to the personnel's basic military police training, while helping them understand what it takes to be policemen.

Also accompanying the group during yesterday's visit were instructors from Royal Malaysian Military Police Captain Yusmaizan bin Yaakub and Sarjan Tumiah bte Hj Ahmad, who will be in the country until November 24 to assist in the military police training.

Later, Senior Inspector Pg Shaiful Rezal Malek Faesal presented a souvenir to Major Pg Hj Rudy Halyamin, which marked the conclusion of the visit. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
