Indonesian Embassy Marks Nuzul Al-Quran
With Prayers

Begawan - The Indonesian Embassy in Brunei recently held a
religious ceremony to mark Nuzul Al-Quran, a press release from the
Indonesian Embassy stated yesterday.
Around 200 members from the
Indonesian community in the capital and Seria took part in the event
to mark the revelation of the Holy Book. Itwas also attended by
Indonesian Ambassador Mr Herijanto Soeprapto.
The function began with the breaking
of fast followed by mass 'Maghrib' and 'Isyak' prayers as well as `Terawih'
prayers.
There was also a religious forum,
which was facilitated by Ustaz Hj Syahroni Abdul Kahar, an invited
speaker from the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The Indonesian ambassador also
presented prizes to the winners of the al-Quran contest and Arabic
