Bandar Seri
Begawan - In an effort to enable people with special needs to
enjoy its facilities and services, the Brunei Museum Department
officiated the opening of a new handicap ramp at its premises
yesterday.
The ramp is located on the left side
of the entrance of the Brunei Museum building and can accommodate a
single wheel chair.
Acting Director of Brunei Museum, Awg
Bantong Bin Antaran, officiated the opening of the new ramp by cutting
the ribbon.
Later, the Acting Director toured the
ramp and was briefed by the contractor on the ramp's functions.
The construction of the ramp was
undertaken by NorKharisma Enterprise and the project sponsored by the
Brunei Museum Department took one month to complete.
Brunei Museum will continue to
provide services which will benefit all the members of the society as
the Brunei museum is now not only an exhibition centre but also a
centre of education, authentic experience and culture.
