Shopping Around For Hari Raya Goodies

Bandar Seri Begawan - Supermarkets nationwide are all geared up to usher in Hari Raya, which is just around the corner.

Shoppers were seen queuing up in supermarkets to shop for Raya goodies such as cakes, biscuits, snacks and soft drinks.

While some celebrants order their goodies from local bakers, other prefers to buy from supermarkets.

"Homemade cakes and biscuits are quite expensive and need to be ordered at least a few months in advance.

"So far those who forgot to order homemade goodies turn to supermarkets for their supply," said a housewife. Hampers can be found in supermarkets as gifts for celebrants. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
