Takaful IBB Presents Wakaf And Donations

Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadhan, Takaful IBB Berhad held aKhatam al-Quran as well as donation and 'Wakaf' presentation ceremony yesterday at Jubli Perak Sultan Hj Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Jangsak.

Present as the guest of honour was Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Abu Bakar bin Hj Apong, Minister'of Communications, who is Chairman of Takaful IBB Berhad. Members of the Board of Directors, members of Syariah Advisory Committee, staff of Takaful IBB Berhad and other guests also attended the ceremony.

The ceremony began with the Khatam al-Quran performed by Takaful IBB Berhad together with Takmir Masjid Jubli Perak Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Committee followed by the presentation of donations to eight orphans who reside in Kg Jangsak.

The Wakaf Takaful IBB Berhad was presented to Imam Awang Hj Zamhari Bin Hi Ibrahim. The Wakaf consisted of a computer, a HP Laser Printer, a water jet pressure device and wireless microphone.

The donations and Wakaf were presented by Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Awang Hj Abu Bakar bin Hj Apong. To end the ceremony, Doa Al-Fatihah was read, followed by the breaking of fast and Maghrib Prayers.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
