School Holds Religious Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan - Pusat Tingkatan Enam Berakas (PTEB) in cooperation, with its Parent-Teacher Association recently organised a religious ceremony to seek blessings from Al-Mighty Allah to assist its upper sixth students who will be sitting for the Brunei Cambridge

General Certificate of Education Advanced Level. Students, parents and teachers recited 'Surah Yasin' at the function which was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall of PTEB before breaking the fast together.

They then moved to the Kampong Lambak Kiri Mosque in Berakas to perform Maghrib and 'Sunat Hajat' prayers seeking blessings from Al-Mighty Allah so as to assist the students in their examinations.

The religious ceremony was also attended by education officers from the Ministry of Education and the Ketua Kampong of Lambak Kiri.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
