Mysterious Cemetery Spruced Up

Bandar Seri Begawan - Berakas District Police personnel and members of the Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Neighbourhood Crime Watch teamed up yesterday to clear bushes surrounding a mysterious cemetery at Jalan 64 in the housing scheme.

At least three tombs were found on top of the hill at the said road. Present at the welfare activity were Acting ASP, Hj Azree, officers and low-rank staff of the police districtas well as -Penghulu of Mukim Berakas `A', Awg Hj Ismail Hj Apong.

Prior to the cleaning campaign, the `Yasin' was recited. According to Senior Insp Pg Shaiful Rezal Malek Faesal, Officer-In-Charge of Berakas Police, the activity is another welfare project aimed at fostering closer rapport between police and the public especially among residents under the jurisdiction of the district police. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
