BAKTI Readies Raya Goodies For RBAF Personnel Abroad

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Welfare Body of Wives of RBAF personnel (BAKTI) worked together yesterday in packing Hari Raya food to be sent to officers and personnel of the Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAF) who are presently working and studying abroad.

The packing session was held yesterday morning at the residence of the Commander of RBAF, and was led by the President of BAKTI, Datin Huh Kalshom bte Haji Suhaili.

The Hari Raya gifts consist of festive biscuits, other food items and Hari Raya cards contributed by RBAF personnel and BAKTI members.

RBAF's and BAKTI's initiative in extending their contributions in the form of such Hari Raya gifts is meant to enliven the festive spirit among those currently overseas so they do not feel left out during the auspicious Hari Raya Aidil Fitri festival.

The celebration promises joy, and thus these contributions will definitely cheer them up knowing that the caring RBAF is meant to make their welfare and social conditions better while being abroad.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
