DSTCom Statement On Easi Starter
Pack Shortage
By James Kon
Bandar Seri
Begawan - In view of the recent shortage of Easi Starter Packs
at all DSTCom counters and vendors nationwide for the past few months,
DSTCom in a press statement expressed its regret for any inconvenience
caused and acknowledged the Easi Starter Pack is currently
experiencing a shortage.
DSTCom
also expressed its appreciation for the feedbacks received from the
general public. The overwhelming increase in Easi customers since the
last quarter of last year had put the Easi system operating at maximum
capacity, as what had been highlighted in an interview with RTB and in
the press previously, the press statement read.
DSTCom
also announced that an investment of B$12 million has been approved
for the expansion of its network which will cater for the increase in
customer demand. The expansion includes the introduction of new value
added services, DSTCom stated.
The expansion will address the
current shortage of Easi Starter Packs by the end of November this
year and will improve the network quality.
While wishing its Muslim customers "Selamat
Berpuasa" and "Selamat Hari Raya", DSTCom said it would continually
strive to improve its customer services and the quality of service for
the benefits of its customers. -- Courtesy of Borneo
