Her tormentor or tormentors most
probably killed her bit by bit inflicting 25 injuries all over her
body.
And then ultimately strangled her
and left her half naked on the floor. Dr P.U Telesinghe, the
government pathologist told Chief Justice Dato Mohd Sated and
Justice Dato Steven Chong said the injuries were caused most
probably by a blunt weapon.
They were "defence injuries"
which she suffered while she tried to protect herself from the
blows raining down on her. She was most probably beaten
mercilessly for 10 minutes, the pathologist told the court.
A neighbour also heard a woman
scream from the direction of the dead woman's house, the court
heard. Seniwati, her husband, Maul bin Jambu 44, a Royal
Airline mechanic and their
adopted daughter Neena Asmir, aged two were found murdered mid
December 2004 at a government house in Kampong Serusop, a Bandar
Seri Begawan suburb.
