Trip to Sg Liang Forest Reserve

The RBLF's Third Battalion made a visit to the Sungai Liang Forest Reserve in Belait recently, involving 23 personnel led by Lieutenant Iswandy.

The trip was a so-called study day and officers from the reserve gave a briefing on Pokok Gaharu. This species of tree, with the scientific names of aquilaria malaccensis and aquilaria beccariana, is almost extinct due to illegal logging.
