Lifting Spirits Of 14 Orphans

Bandar Seri Begawan - Tumpuan Telisai Religious School yesterday held a 'Bertahlil' and 'Majlis Bersungkai' at its school conference hall.

The day also saw the presentation of cash and goodies to the orphans of the school, which were handed over by Tumpuan Telisai Headman Hj Mohd Zun bin Hj Mohd Tajin and his spouse.

Following the recital of the doa arwah and tahlil, the school teacher invited both guests and student orphans to enjoy the breaking of fast -together.

According to Headmistress Ustazah Pg Armah bte Pg Hj Apong, the annually held event celebrates its 14 orphans this year. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
