Residents Concerned Over Bad Road Conditions In Kg Mata-Mata

Bandar Seri Begawan - Residents of Kg Mata-Mata complained about the poor road conditions in their housing area.

During the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations family members and friends will be invited for open houses. The residents are worried the bad road conditions may discourage people from visiting their homes. One of the residents who expressed his frustrations to the Bulletin said potholes along the road have not been fixed for some time, thus causing damages to passing vehicles.

Another resident said he was worried that the bad road conditions may result in accidents when inconsiderate drivers do not bother to slow down their vehicles.

"Some of them speed along the road and expect the oncoming car to slow down or stop while they drive on the other side of the road in order to avoid the potholes," he said. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
