Woman Awaits Punishment In $24,000 CBT Case

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 42-year-old local woman was released on bail pending sentencing for an offence of Criminal Breach of Trust (CBT).

Hjh Asiah binti Awang Metali will be sentenced on November 23 after she pleaded guilty yesterday before the Bandar Magistrate's Court to committing Criminal Breach of Trust involving money amounting to more than $28,000 at Econ Motors Showroom. DPP Nor Hafizah Ahmad told the court that the defendant committed the offence between February 28 and March 22, 2004.  -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
