Winners Of Australian English, Science College's Poetry Contests

Bandar Seri Begawan - Three students - Farah Nurfatin Abd Karim, Muhd Ali-Muizz Alipah and Lim Ya Wen - made the Maktab Sains proud when they were named the top gold medal recipients yesterday morning in the Australian English Competition held at the Science College's auditorium.

A total of 1,347 of the college's students entered the contest, out of which 15 recorded high distinctions,' 138 scored high credits and 335 got credits. In another ceremony, winners of the Inter-Class English Poetry Competition this year received their prizes from Principal Pg Hjh Sarah Pg Hj Kamaluddin.

The recipients were-Faadzillah Hj Abd Rahim, Khairunnisa DP Hj Ghani, Mohd Danie Arif Adnan, Md Ramzul Majdi Md Ramlee, Melanis Shim Yi Lin, Dk Nur Raihan Pg Mohamad, Siti Norsyamimi Hj Abd Bakar, Siti Nurafidah Baharom, Lim Chien Hau and Natasha Nur Hj Md Daud. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
