St Margaret's School PTA Registered

Bandar Seri Begawan - St. Margaret's School, Seria announced its Parent-Teacher Association (PTA SMS) was formally registered on Aug 17, 2006, a press release said.

The chairperson for the inaugural PTA committee, Hj Mohd Idris, said " the PTA will give us an' avenue to interact with all parents and teachers in the coming year on our planned activities.

"One of the key objectives of the PTA is to promote and foster goodwill and cooperation between parents and teachers to achieve optimal intellectual, physical, emotional and social education for the students," he said.

The PTA is empowered to raise funds and exercise functions deemed necessary by the PTA Committee, and within the PTA guidelines set by the Ministry of Education.

Information on the PTA constitution, committee roles, responsibilities and planned programme for the year is on the school notice board.
