Vehicle Almost Thrown Into River, Driver Injured

Seria - A vehicle was almost thrown into the river along Jalan Utara F10 Seria recently after the driver, who was injured, seemed to lost control of his car and ran over the metal railings.

His car somehow landed in a slanting position. Fortunately, it got stuck to a tree, stated a witness who was present at the scene of the accident after it occured.

The vehicle had to be towed away and its driver was treated at the Panaga Hospital.

The sandy route is not actually designated for cars to enter, but is usually frequented by residents in Seria, as the river proves to be a popular fishing spot when the tide is high. Fortunately again, no one was in the area when the mishap took place at around 2pm. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
