BSM Continues Its Outreach Programme

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sdn Bhd (BSM) yesterday presented a donation of five computers to the Youth Development Centre as part of its outreach programme to contribute to the nation's social development.

The primary objective of the outreach programme is to promote and support the development of youths and the community as a whole.

BSM Managing Director Pg Hj Yasmin bin Pg Hj Mohammad handed over the computers to Youth Development Centre Head Hjh Fatimah binti Pehin Penyurat Haji Awang Mohd Salleh.

Earlier in the day, Pg Hj Yasmin heard a briefing on the background of the centre, which was delivered by Training Officer Saiful Rizal bin Haji Ariffin. He also toured the place.

The centre was established in 1996 under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

At present, BSM is sponsoring an occupational therapy programme in partnership with the Child Development Centre. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
