Police Bring Smiles On Faces Of
Orphans, Award Top Students

Begawan - Prizes were presented to a number of orphans at the
Multipurpose Hall of Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) Training Centre
in Jalan Gadong yesterday, where some were awarded for doing well in
their examinations, while others received donations.
The presentation of gifts and
donations to orphans is part of RBPF's annual activities that is held
in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya festivities, according to
AG ACP Abd Rahim bin Hj Mohd Noor, the acting head of Administration
and Finance Department, RBPF. He said that this was to show that the
police force looks after the welfare of its personnel and their
families, especially during Hari Raya.
The guests of honour were
Commissioner of Police Pehin Dato Zainuddin bin Jalani, and Datin
Suriate bte Hj Morneh, who presented donations to 67 orphans.
The four students who received prizes
for their excellent results in last year's O-Level examination were
NurliyanaAqilah binti Juni, DkNurul Khairunnisabinti Pg Mohd Roslin,
Nor Azemah binti Hi abd-Sahamd and Norhakirnah binti Matusin.
The other four students who did well
in their A Level examination were Ak Muhd Khairil Zhafran bin Pg
Ibrahim, Jormasnidah @ Nidah binti Jormasie, Dk Elina Fadzillah binti
Pg Kamaluddin and Dk Norfaizah binti Pg Aliuddin.
Meanwhile, the police commissioner
also presented Hari Raya gifts to 16 departments, stations, formation
and units of the Royal Brunei Police Force. -- Courtesy of Borneo
