Prime Minister's Office Holds 'Tedarus'

Begawan - The Prime Minister's Office held a 'Tedarus',
breaking of fast and mass Maghrib prayers at the Paduka Seri Begawan
Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque in Kampong Katimahar yesterday.
The event is organised in turns by
various departments under the Prime Minister's Office.
Yesterday, it was handled by the
State Judiciary Department, Public Service Department and Audit
Department.
The religious event was hosted by
Pehin Datu Imam Dato Ustaz Hj Awg Abdul
Hamid
bin Bakal, the Chief Justice of Syariah Court; Pehin Dato Hj Awg Salim
bin Hj Besar, the High Court Judge of Syariah; and Dato Awg Hj
Metussin bin Baki, the High Court Judge of Syariah.
Staff of various departments under
the Prime Minister's Office attended the event. The Quran was recited
in two sections - the first reading was from Chapter 1 to 15, while
the second one was Chapter 16 to 30.
The next venue for the religious
ceremony will be at the Kampong Lambak Mosque, while the Khatam al-Quran
