Students Shine In NSW Maths Competition

Bandar Seri Begawan - Jessica Kok, Koh Pi Wang, Ethan Lai and Lau Vi Yen from CHMS (Chung Hwa Middle School, BSB) won High Distinction awards in The New South Wales University 2006 International Mathematics Competition and Assessments for Schools.

Fifteen CHMS students won Distinction awards. They are Chung Chee Hou, Lau Wang Jing, Loh Ben Yang, Aaron Lim, Tay Weixiong, Derby Teo, Soon Jian Jun, Jason Leong, [Ian Yi Chour, Jasper Pang, Lim Yee Rou, Lim Yew Ming, Lang Shou Cong, Lim Wei Liang and Loo Heng Yi.

The top 10 per cent of Brunei students who joined the competition received High Distinction awards. The following 10 per cent got the Distinction awards. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
