Tahlil Events At Royal Mausoleum

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports held a tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum ofAl-Marhum Sultan Haji OmarAli Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien in Jalan Tutong yesterday.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Pehin Major General (Rtd) Dato Awang Hj Mohammad bin Hj Daud and Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Haji Jemat bin Haji Ampal were among those present at the event.

More than 50 officers and staff from the ministry were also in attendance as part of the religious activities organised during the holy month of Ramadhan.

Later, more than 100 people, led by Private and Confidential Secretary at the Office of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang DiPertuan of Brunei Darussalam Pehin Dato Haji Awang Mohd Nawawi bin Pehin Haji Awang Taha, also held a tahlil ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
