Ex-Armies To Hold Tahlil Event

Bandar Seri Begawan - In an effort to increase religious activities during the month of Ramadhan, the Ex-Army Association will be holding a Tahlil and Doa Arwah function on October 7, 4pm, at Teratak Perwira, Bolkiah Camp in Berakas.

According to Pg Hj Abu Bakar Pg DP Hj Mohamad, the guest of honour will be the association's adviser, Pg Sanggamara Diraja Major General (Rtd) Pg Hj Ibnu Baasith Pg Dato Penghulu Pg Hj Apong.

Ex-Army Association members are also invited to attend the event. The event is aimed at offering prayers to deceased soldiers. "The Tahlil and Doa Arwah will be led by a religious figure. The ceremony will conclude with the breaking of the fast," he said.
