Media Team From Shanghai Impressed With Brunei

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Empire Hotel and Country Club recently welcomed a group from Shanghai comprising a media team from Shanghai Times, Traveler and Shanghai Morning Post, all of which are leading publications in Shanghai, as stated in a press release.

This trip was initiated by the Royal Brunei Airlines Shanghai and led by Benjamin Chen, Sales and Marketing Manager of Royal Brunei Airlines, Shanghai. The trip was also supported by Brunei Tourism and Sunshine Borneo.

The group was welcomed with a dinner hosted by Jennifer Kang, Director of PR & Marketing Communications of the Hotel and attended by representatives of Brunei Tourism and Royal Brunei Airlines at Spaghettini, The Empire Hotel & Country Club's Italian restaurant.

During their stay at the hotel, the group was taken on a full hotel tour to view the rooms, suites and villas as well as the extensive facilities available at The Empire Country Club.

"This is our first trip to Brunei and there really is so much to see and do. We will be back again next time to fully enjoy all that Brunei has to offer," said one of the journalists.

The group was also delighted to spend a day at Temburong as well as a day in the city where they experienced the many places of interest around Brunei including Kampong Ayer, Royal Regalia, mosques and many more.

Following this trip, the journalists will be writing special features on Brunei and it is hoped that through this, there will be an enhanced awareness of Brunei in Shanghai.
