By James Kon & Achong Tanjong
Bandar Seri
Begawan - One of the largest insurance agencies from Malaysia
based in Brunei, Malaysia National Insurance (MNI Insurance), which is
the largest Malaysian composite insurer with an asset base of over RM8
billion, has introduced one of its most comprehensive personal
accident insurance plans for the local market.
The MNI ProtectPlus Personal Accident
Plan was officially launched yesterday at MNI Insurance Office in
Gadong, where more than 20 MNI agents were briefed on the new policy.
According to Miss Tsang Poh Yee, the
head of Business Development Branch of Brunei MNI Insurance, the plan
is a simple yet comprehensive personal accident package.
She explained that it provides
coverage on accidental death, permanent disablement and medical cover
in the event of injuries sustained as a result of an accident.
The MNI's ProtectPlus Personal
Protection Plan protects customers from daily incidences that may
require them to seek medical attention, whether professional or
traditional treatment including massages and 'Sinseh'.
The plan's coverage extends to minor
accidents such as sprained ankle to major ones suffered from road
collisions, travelling whilst on public transportation, snatch thefts,
robberies, dengue, food poisoning and even adventure sports.
In conjunction with the launching
yesterday, MNI announced that there would be an early bird campaign
for the next three months, where those who purchase the new plan will
receive a free thermos. For more information contact MNI at 2449885.
