Fine Brunei performance at 4th Women's Islamic Games

Brunei athletes at the 4th Women's Islamic Games in Tehran, Iran late last month secured one gold, two silvers and two bronzes altogether, RTB reported. Brunei won the gold in individual golf, the two silvers in group golf and athletics, while the bronzes came from taekwondo.

The athletes were welcomed on their arrival home by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Dato Major General (rtd) Awg Hj Mohammad, RTB disclosed. Brunei took part in athletics, golf and taekwondo at the Tehran's Women's Islamic Games. The country's participation at the Games was its first.
