Belait Police Hold Talk On Ramadhan

Bandar Seri Begawan - A religious talk to usher in the month of Ramadhan was held by the Royal Brunei Police Force at the Belait Police Headquarters yesterday.

The talk was delivered by Ustaz Haji Abd Rahim bin Haji Ismail of the Sayyidina Ali Kampung Pandan Secondary School.

Guest of honour at the function was Police Commissioner of Belait District, Superintendent Pg Kamaluddin bin Pg Setia Negara Pengiran Haj i Jaya. Also present were officers from the Religious Affairs Ministry and the Belait District Police Department.

Before the reading of a doa arwah and a 'bertahlil' ceremony, the guest of honour presented a 'wakaf' to the Deputy Head Officer of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Belait District, Awang Haji Zaidin bin Ibrahim.

The wakaf was in the form of tools for cleaning the gravesites at Batu Tiga Jalan Maulana, Kuala Belait. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
