Lorong 7 Beach Closed For Road Repairs

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) recently began constructing an access road from the beach at Lorong 7 (E16), Panaga, Seria to the disused Marine Platform `E' (MPE).

In a press release, BSP said, `The access road which will be about 350 metres long, is being built to facilitate the abandonment of wells and eventual dismantling of the MPE structures.

"Work on the site is expected to be completed by December 2004.

"In the interest of safety, members of the public are advised not to enter the construction area while this work is being carried out.

"The cooperation and understanding of the public are highly appreciated and BSP regrets any temporary inconvenience caused." -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
