STDARA
members pose with Sin Hup Huat Company Managing Director, Kuan Kim Jok
and General Manager, Steven Kuan after their visit yesterday
Members of Sarawak Tyre Dealers and
Retreaders Association (STDARA) were impressed with the latest
facilities and equipment found at a local tyre retail outlet, Sin Hup
Huat Tyre Company (Michelin Centre), in Gadong.
The delegation comprising of 80
STDARA committee members and members from as far as Kuala Lumpur
visited the Michelin centre yesterday.
During the visit, the delegation took
a closer look at the facilities available at the centre.
They were accompanied and briefed by
Sin Hup Huat Tyre Company Managing Director, Kuan Kim Jok and its
General Manager, Steven Kuan.
STDARA
chairman, Tan Geok Hin, who led the group said it was the first time
the association organised a visit to Brunei. He said STDARA has
members throughout East and West Malaysia.
Mr. Tan said the association had made
visits to various tyre service centres in East and West Malaysia and
he was happy to note that Sin Hup Huat Tyre Company is one of the most
excellent centres they had visited.
This is because the centre is
equipped with computerised technology and modern facilities. He said
Bruneians are lucky to have this service centre and he hoped members
of STDARA would gain new experience and benefit from the trip.
Sin Hup Huat Tyre Company is the
distributor for Michelin, BF Goodrich, Nankang and Mega Tyres in the
country.
The outlet in Gadong is equipped with
ultra modern amenities and is ranked very highly compared to
Malaysia's tyre retail shops.
The delegation arrived in the country
last Sunday.
During their stay, the delegation
also visited places of interest in the capital. They left Brunei
yesterday for Miri to attend the 24th anniversary of the association.
