Man Drops Dead At Immigration

Bandar Seri Begawan - A man suddenly collapsed to the floor and became unconscious, startling people around him at the Immigration Department yesterday morning.

The incident happened at the first floor of the Immigration Department in Jalan Menteri Besar.

Witnesses said the Chinese man in his late 40’s looked normal before he collapsed.

He was seen heading to a photocopy vendor to copy some of the documents and suddenly collapsed.

“He just drops to the floor,” said a witness who was at the same floor when the incident happened.

Paramedics were quickly called and an ambulance was dispatched to the Immigration building at about 11 am. Some members of the public also tried to help the man while waiting for the paramedics to arrive. Paramedics tried to resuscitate the man but failed after several attempts. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
