St Angela's visit to Orchid Garden

Twenty-three Form 3 students from St Angela's visited the Orchid Garden Hotel yesterday morning. They were lead by Miss Elzie, who commented that the field trip was done to get a look into tourism and operations of the hotel industry. The visitors got to see various facilities like the different rooms available, swimming pool, conference room and so on. One of them named Amanda said that she was very impressed and wouldn't mind working in such a great environment. She also said that she will study hard and maybe one day could enjoy the luxurious life that the rich have. After the tour, Mr Mac Thomson, the General Manager of Orchid Garden thanked them for their interest and in turn, a representative from the secondary school gave a souvenir to him as a token of appreciation.
