Penghulu hands dates to Mukim Kianggeh reps

To ensure fair circulation of dates for the fast approaching holy month, a personal gift from His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam to Muslims in the country, the Penghulu of Mukim Kianggeh last Thursday distributed them to villages' representatives within his jurisdiction.

It took place at his place of residence, Spg 402, Persiaran Damuan in Kg Telanai, Km 4 of Jalan Tutong.

"I hope I will not receive a single complaint from any village about a family that has not received the dates.

"May I remind you the Sabda of HRH Prince Abdul Malik at the issuance of the dates on October 16 at the International Convention Centre, Berakas in which he hoped the dates would be honestly distributed to the entire population," said Lufti Hj Abdul Hamil.

This event was attended by committee members of the Mukim Kianggeh Consultative Council.
