Brunei Wins Best National Theme Award At APEC Investment Mart

Bandar Seri Begawan - Brunei's pavilion has won the Best National Theme at the recent APEC Investment Mart 2003 in Bangkok.

There are four other awards. Malaysia took the Best Design Award. Canada won the Best Creativity. China won the Best Information Display while South Korea took the top prize for Best Pavilion Overall.

The Investment Mart attracted more than half a million visitors over six days.

The mart was intended to woo foreign investment to APEC economies.

The Brunei booth at the mart sought to attract Foreign Direct Investment in gas and port development projects as well as key industries. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
