Brunei Reviews Skill Training Against Market

Bandar Seri Begawan – Brunei is reviewing the present skill training according to the current market and more to the development of entrepreneurship among the youth.

Pehin Dato Doctor Haji Awang Hussain, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, at the presentation of certificates to the students of the Youth Development Centre.

He said several government and private agencies have taken steps by carrying out several entrepreneurship courses for youth. This effort should be welcomed by the youth.

Pehin added youths should not simply depend on the jobs provided by the government or the private sector instead they should be self-dependent as an entrepreneur which also promises a bright future in the nation development.

Ninety-one students, who underwent a two-year course at the Youth Development Ccentre, received their certificates yesterday.

The students attended training on computer and office management, basic sewing, cookery and catering make up and hair styling and cake bakery and pastry making.
