Indonesian Jailed For Impersonating Fellowman

Bandar Seri Begawan - A 26-year-old Indonesian was sentenced to 4 months imprisonment by the Magistrate’s Court yesterday for impersonating a fellow countrymen.

Saiful Huda pleaded guilty to impersonating as Nur Hisyam, 28, an Indonesian passport holder.

The Immigration Prosecutor, Moharefandi Hj Md Tahir said that the defendant was arrested three days ago by the Immigration Enforcement Officers at an unnumbered rented house located in the vicinity of Kampong Kianggeh in the capital. -- Courtesy of Borneo Bulletin
