Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College Aims High

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Sultan Saiful Rijal Technical College, as a premier and dynamic technical institution is committed to enhance Brunei's potential and fulfill national aspirations through high quality technological education and training.

The college also provides students with the opportunity to showcase their talents of the various courses that they have taken up.

The college is now holding a three-day end of year exhibition organised by the building, design and management section beginning yesterday.

Some 30 projects by the students are being put on display during the three-day exhibition at the college in Jalan Muara.

Its purpose serves as a platform for the exhibitors and parties concerned to interact and exchange ideas and information.

It also helps to establish stronger bond between the educators and students with the private and public sectors.

One of the final year students, Dayang Amal Umi Khalsum Haji Abdul Karim who studied interior design created a music cafe as her project.

She told RTB she used music concept for her creation that took five months to complete and it differs from other models.

Dayang Norhasrinah is apparently was the only student who created a model for a child day care centre. Her model targeted strategic business areas that facilitate people with the ease of sending their children to such centres. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
