Deputy Sultan Gives Away Golf Prizes

Bandar Seri Begawan - His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-muhtadee Billah, the Deputy Sultan Monday afternoon presented prizes to winners of the fourth golf tournament held in conjunction with the 10th Civil Service Day 2003.

His Royal Highness was greeted upon arrival at the Royal Brunei Golf, Jerudong Park Country Club by members of organising committee.

The overall winner in individual category with handicap 0 to 8 was Pengiran Kasmiran.

Meanwhile the Foreign Affairs Ministry emerged champion in the overall team event. The ministry received the challenge trophy donated by His Royal Highness.

His Royal Highness then consented to receive a souvenir from the organising committee.

A total of 150 golfers took part at the tournament.

It was open to the senior officers and staff from all the government ministries as well as invited participants comprising cabinet ministers, deputy ministers and sponsors of the tournament.
