Education Ministry Wins Badminton Championship

Bandar Seri Begawan - The Education Ministry emerged winner of the inter-ministries badminton championship after defeating the Development Ministry in the final round held on Monday night.

Four out of five events were contested in the finals. In the Super Scale category for doubles the Education Ministry defeated the Development Ministry, 9-15; 9-15.

In a second match, the Development Ministry beat Education, 15-11;15-5.

The Development Ministry also won the third match, 15-2 and 15-5.

Meanwhile in the open category, Education defeated Development, 15-1;15-5.

Prizes were handed over by the Permanent Secretary of Finance, Pengiran Dato Haji Maidin bin Pengiran Haji Hashim.
