Civil Service Day Golf Gets Going At Jerudong Park

Bandar Seri Begawan - A golf tournament held in conjunction with the 10th Civil Service Day 2003 got underway yesterday morning at the Royal Brunei Golf, Jerudong Park Country Club.

One hundred and fifty golfers are taking part in the tournament, the fourth of its kind being organised.

It is open for senior officers and staff from all the government ministries as well as invited participants comprising cabinet ministers, deputy ministers and sponsors of the tournament.

The championship is to vie for a trophy donated by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince.

The final of the tournament, which is organised by the Youth and Sports Department and the committees for this year’s Civil Service Day, will be held this Sunday at the same venue. -- Courtesy of Radio Television Brunei
