Longest Drive challenge at Empire

The Empire Hotel & Country Club, together with Standard Chartered Bank, will host the 2003 Brunei Longest Drive Championships on Oct 19 (4pm-6pm), held in conjunction with the hotel's 3rd anniversary.

Golfers - one entry only - can register on the day itself from 3pm to 4pm at the Empire Driving Range. Entry fees are B$30 for Men's Open, B$20 for Ladies Open, B$20 for Men's Senior and B$15 for Juniors.

The longest drive will win B$1,000 cash plus prizes for the Men's Open, B$500 cash plus prizes for the Ladies' Open, B$500 cash plus prizes for the Men's Senior and B$250 cash plus prizes for the Junior category. Limited spaces are available. This event is also supported by Komala One Stop Car Service Centre, Pete Hansen, Huper Optik, Winston's Pte Ltd, Wilson Sporting Goods, SEC Mashibah Sdn Bhd, Jaya Centrepoint Hyepermarket, Haska Interior Sdn Bhd and Ping Golf Clubs.
