Beer Smuggler Caught And Jailed

Bandar Seri Begawan – A 26-year-old local man was brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate Court for smuggling alcohol yesterday.

Patrick Bin Padan was found guilty for smuggling in 24 bottles of alcoholic drinks into the country.

He was fined $500 or one-month jail in default.

All alcoholic drinks were confiscated and destroyed.
